Next Meeting April 20th @ 7:30pm

THE SOUNDS OF EMERGENCY HAM RADIO CALLS

Gordon West, WB6NOA, ham radio educator and co-host of Ham Nation, will join us via Skype to present actual audio of emergency ham radio calls from the Twin Towers , to Hurricane Katrina, to car crashes, a school bus accident, and homes on fire out here in California.

These recorded radio calls are chilling, but ham radio control operators rise to the occasion of professionally taking down the traffic, and handling the emergency calls.

Come to be inspired and informed on how important ham radio communication really is when nothing else can get through. Also enjoy meeting Gordo, author of the popular W5YI ham license courses.
