What Goes Into an ARISS Contact
The next club meeting will be at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, July 17, 2020.
The Amateur Radio on the International Space Station (ARISS) program
allows students to experience the excitement of talking directly with
astronauts, inspiring them to pursue interests in careers in science,
technology, engineering and math, and engaging them with radio science
technology through amateur radio. Learn about the history of amateur
radio contacts with crewmembers in space, how the ARISS program works
and the tremendous amount of advanced planning and coordination it takes
to maximise the chances that the contact is successful. Calvin Gluck,
W7KYG will discuss these topics and his recent experience working on an
ARRISS contact! Join us in our July meeting via Zoom for this exciting

Get on the Air Net
The Arlington Amateur Radio Club will have our Get on the Air net on our 2 meter repeater. The net is every Wednesday at 7:00 PM.
Our 2 meter repeater is at 147.140 with a tone of 110.9

CERT Basic Training
