Arlington ARC and W5YI VEC Sponsored Testing

The Arlington Amateur Radio Club sponsors two amateur radio license test sessions every month. Both sessions are conducted by our club Training Coordinator Phil Stage, N5PWW. Phil is a W5YI VE Coordinator.

When are the test sessions conducted?

Test sessions are conducted on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of every month and begin at 10:00am sharp.

Where are the test sessions conducted?

All test sessions are conducted at the Arlington Human Resources Center located at 401 W. Sanford Street in Arlington, Texas. The test site is approximately one block east of Cooper Street on the north side of W. Sanford Street. After entering the parking lot, proceed to the north side of the building (back side from Sanford Street) and come in the entrance near the center of the building.

Call in is provided on 147.140 with 110.9 tone. Just CQ N5PWW or the Arlington Test Session, someone will answer.

What do I need to bring?

Please bring the following items:

  1. Your Drivers License or appropriate government issue ID.

  2. A xerox copy of your current amateur radio license and/or any appropriate Certificates of Successful Completion (CSCE) forms. Do NOT bring the originals.

  3. $14 test administration/processing fee (CASH ONLY).

  4. At least one pencil and one ink pen.

  5. A calculator.
